Replace in Clipboard: update
Alax.Info Replace in Clipboard updates:
- Fixed: application might stop watching clipboard
- Updated: default configuration file location moved to Application Data subdirectory of user’s profile directory; should it be missing there, the application will still look into binary directory
- New: open configuration file and reload configuration commands in tray menu
- Updated: better UI feedback on application status

That’s great!
Feature requests:
- option not to show the tray icon, unless you are suggesting a replacement (to save tray area space);
- global hotkey for replacing (Win+C would be fine for be);
- per-rule option not to show anything, even when you have a suggestion (I will just press Win+C to run the replacement engine when I want to).

Thank you for the hints. I also thought to add a rule to unconditionally replace text and offer a tip to undo.
Exactly! I am finally tired of typing “http://” and host name in IM chat each time. :)

Check update, it implements requested features 2 and 3. As for hiding the icon, you can hide it using task bar properties. Should the application hide its icon itself, there would be no way to exit from it.
